About the event
This training workshop is focused on clinical processes, beyond using and interpreting tools/measures, and beyond diagnostic reasoning skills.
Embedding neurodivergent-affirming and trauma-informed principles at different stages of your assessment process.
Attending to and reflecting on clinical, interpersonal processes (relational processes occurring between clinician and client as part of assessment).
Content will generally be geared toward working with adult clients, though will also be relevant to working with adolescents/older teenagers, and with parents/carers in the context of paediatric assessment.
This training is suitable for experienced Psychologists who are looking to strengthen and deepen their neurodivergent-affirming approaches at the relational and clinical process level.
