Supervision

Supervision is available for Psychologists, Allied Health Practitioners, Medical Practitioners and Educators seeking to further their abilities in neurodivergence-affirming assessment skills, report writing and clinical practice.

 

I am a Board-Approved Supervisor. I gained board approval in January 2023, after providing peer supervision (individual and group) since 2019. I can act as a secondary supervisor for registrar programs, 4+2 and 5+1 pathways. I do not have capacity at this time to act as primary supervisor for 4+2 or 5+1 internships.

I am endorsed as an Educational and Developmental Psychologist, and will be eligible to offer primary supervision for Ed & Dev registrars after having held my endorsement for two years (this milestone will be reached in December 2026). I Don't Supervise On...
 

• Treatment/therapy for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). 

• Assessment and management of Eating Disorders (EDs). 

• Perinatal psychology (therapy during the perinatal period). 

• Family court, co-parenting or separated parent dynamics. 

• Business development or marketing, business coaching/mentoring. 

 

Report Writing
 

​When working on report writing in supervision, my approach is to support and coach supervisees to practice affirming writing themselves and to then consult with me so I can assist, guide and edit. This approach means that the development of affirming thinking, conceptualising and writing happens via genuine learning and collaboration.

 

I am only able to review reports when I have an established working relationship with a supervisee, and have developed a thorough knowledge of their assessment methods and clinical reasoning skills. I believe this foundation is ethically necessary to review assessment reports. 

 

My stance is the same regarding supervisee requests for co-signing assessment reports. Ethically, I am only open to this after having developed a thorough understanding of a supervisee's assessment and clinical reasoning processes. 

I do not share de-identified report samples or report templates. These are my intellectual property and have been developed through countless hours of my own work and reflection over many years. Thank you for understanding and respecting this boundary.  

Fees

Individual supervision is offered at a standard rate of $250 inc. GST per 50 minute session (current from 1st August 2025). Following from supervision of report writing skills, I offer review of reports. This is charged at the standard supervision rate, pro-rata based on the time taken to read a report and provide written comments/feedback. 
 

How do I pay? ​Fees are processed securely online via debit/credit card. When completing information and consent forms online, you will be asked to input your card details which are encrypted and stored securely in the booking system (Halaxy). Payment is then deducted from your card automatically at the time of session. Paid invoices are emailed to you directly. 
 

Conditions
 

Booking/Appointment Terms:
 

• You will receive an appointment reminder via email 3 business days prior to each appointment. You will also receive an SMS 3 days before the appointment ​requiring you to confirm or cancel. Please give at least 48 business hours (2 business day's) notice if you need to cancel your appointment (e.g., replying to the reminder email or the SMS) so that your time can be offered to others. 

• Appointments that are cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, or that are not attended, will be charged the session fee in full. This will need to be paid before further appointments can be booked. 

• Accounts must be balanced before future supervision sessions can be booked.

• Supervision invoices must be paid promptly by supervisees unless third-party payment (e.g., by a workplace) has been organised in advance and consented to in writing by the third-party and myself. This is to prevent invoices becoming overdue.
